Cheer Club

What:	Cheer Club The Terre Haute Family Y Cheer Club coincides with the Y’s Flag Football program. Cheer squads are made up of girls age 5-11. This club is designed to teach exciting chants and cheers to the participants. Squads will practice one night per week and perform for the crowds during the Y’s flag football games.
Who:	Girls age 5-11
Where:	Practices are held at Terre Haute Family Y in the gymnastics room. Flag Football games are held at Meadows Elementary School.
When:	The program begins September 8th with practices at the following times: Ages 5-7 will meet Wednesday’s 4:00-5:00 (if there are a lot of girls registered we may add another day and split them up (Monday 4:00-5:00). Ages 8-11 meet on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 pm Flag Football games are held on the following Saturdays: September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, and 18. November 1st is left open for a make-up game. Picture Day will be September 20, 2008.
Cost:	Y Members: $45.00 T-shirt/Trophy included Non-Members: $60.00 T-shirt/Trophy included

Financial assistance is available for those who can demonstrate need.
Apply before August 1st, 2008. It takes 3 weeks to process.
Registration Deadline: August 22, 2008
We will not take any registrations after August 22, 2008.
