When kids experience Summer Day Camp at the Y, they experience something new every day. Experiences include the power of a positive mentor, the confidence that comes from trying and succeeding, and learning the importance of healthy, long-lasting friendships. Children don’t know they are learning valuable life skills at camp. They just think they are having a whole lot of fun!


To Register:
• Complete a registration form in full for each child.

Initial registration and adding or dropping weeks must be done at the Y’s Welcome Center to verify available space.
• Campers must be registered by the Friday before camp starts (i.e., for the June 2nd-6th camp participants must be registered by May 30th). Camp reservations are on a first come first served basis.
• A $25.00 per week non refundable deposit will reserve your spot for that week. The balance for the week is due the Friday prior to the week attending.
• Multiple Sibling Discount - $15.00 per child per week. Payment Process
• The balance for each camp week (camp rate minus the deposit) is due the Friday before camp starts. The $25.00 deposit will be forfeited if payment is not made by the due date. A late fee of $10.00 may be applied to each session per child if payment is not received on time.
• All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Registrations received less than 7 days prior to the start of a camp week will require payment in full. Financial Assistance is Available
• The Terre Haute Family Y provides financial assistance to families who can demonstrate need. Scholarships are available through a confidential application process.
• Scholarship forms can be obtained at the Y Welcome Center or online at www.thfy.org. The scholarship form, registration and applicable deposits are to be turned into the Y’s Welcome Center.
• The Y Day Camp Director will evaluate the scholarship application and will notify recipients of the amount of assistance awarded. Applications must be received and processed two weeks prior to the first session of the camp you wish to register for.
