Personal Training
Do you want results? The personal trainers at the Terre Haute Family Y will help you achieve the results you want. Your workouts will be based on your goals and your timeline. Your program will be individualized for your level of fitness, your metabolism and your goals.
Personal training sessions can be used for a variety of reasons including: Losing weight, reducing stress levels, training for sports or special events, strengthening muscles and joints, dealing with certain diseases and physical restriction, improving overall fitness, and reducing back pains.
Even teens can reap many benefits from some form of personal training. This is the perfect time to instill positive and healthy lifelong habits.
Our trainers are required to be certified as a personal trainer from at least one of the following national organizations:
A.C.E. - American Council on Exercise
A.C.S.M. - American College of Sports Medicine
A.F.A.A. - Aerobics and Fitness Association of America
C.S.C.S. - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Y.M.C.A. - YMCA Personal Trainer Certification
